Never Pop Pimples – For most people (including myself) this is extremely hard. Before you pop them, check this out. Instead of popping them, I prefer to do a mini spa day at-home facial on myself as soon as I start to notice an acne pimple or a post-acne dark mark.
Treat The Acne Early – within the first 24 hours of acne and/or post-acne dark spots showing up on my skin. When I notice new skin blemishes, I immediately follow this results-driven regimen. Moisturize Regularly
You probably already know this; keeping your skin hydrated is key when it comes to preventing acne and post-acne dark spots(dark marks).
It’s crucial to keep your skin moisturized because of my famous saying “Dry skin cause more zits, not less”.
Plus, moisturizing your skin will help keep your skin hydrated and healthy. Make sure you’re using the correct moisturizer for your skin type!
I sometimes hear people say “moisturizing my skin makes it oily” if you feel the same way, It’s time for you to book a virtual consultation so that I can help you build a results-driven regimen based on your skin type, skin condition, and skincare goals.
The most important thing is this; choose a moisturizer that’s specifically formulated for your skin type in order to get the best results.

Protect Your Skin Against UV Rays
As humans, we need the sun. The sun plays a significant role in our lives. That’s why it’s extremely important that you always protect your skin against the sun’s UV rays.
Did you know that UV rays were one of the main reasons when it comes to post-acne dark spots?
If you’re serious about clearing up the post-acne dark (dark marks on your skin) you need to to be sure you always protect your skin with sunscreen…
Otherwise, you’re just wasting your time and money.
No one wants to experience Dark Spots on their skin!
Another thing to keep in mind is this, UV rays can cause premature aging and make any existing dark spots look even worse.
To protect your skin against UV rays, make sure to always wear a broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30-50 when you’re out in the sun for extended periods of time.
Don’t believe the hype when they say SPF followed by a large number – There’s no sunscreen out there that will give 100% coverage. Don’t buy into that marketing scheme.
It’s also important to remember that even if you aren’t outdoors, your skin can still be exposed to UV rays through glass windows or car windshields, so make sure to apply sunscreen to your before you leave your house!
Yes, even you’re traveling all day and will be inside an airplane.

Exfoliate Regularly
Exfoliating regularly is another great way to keep your skin looking its best and help reduce the appearance of post-acne dark spots. There are a lot of different exfoliants out there!
Exfoliation will help with removing dead skin cells from the surface of your face, which can help brighten up any dull areas caused by breakouts or acne scars.
Try using a gentle exfoliating scrub followed by a clay based enzyme mask once a week—just be sure not to overdo it as this could irritate your skin! Once per week is all you’ll need. The key is to stay consistent.
